Overcoming self doubt

Everyone has some form of self doubt, most of the time they don’t publish it the same way that I’m about to. My goal in writing this is too hopefully help someone else who is struggling as much as me. As I sit here and think about the ways that I’ve allowed self doubt and a lack of confidence to hold me back, I can’t help but get a little teary-eyed. I know deep within myself that I can and will make a difference in this world. I know deep in my rational side of the brain that I have the tools and resources needed to do anything I set my mind to if I will take that first step. So this year, I’ve challenged myself to overcome these feelings of self doubt, get out there and shine! A challenge or resolution is nothing however without goals and plans put in place.

My plan is for the next 365 days to do at least one small thing every day that I was scared to do even though I want to. For example, today’s challenge was to create this blog post and spill the tea about self doubt in order to help others along the way. Some upcoming goals for me are, to publish a video on YouTube, create my first podcast episode, continue to go live on Facebook and create Reels with my photos, and to keep putting in job applications. I hope that you all will find ways in this year to step out of your comfort zones and make the world a better place for you and everyone around you. I promise there will be more posts in the future, and perhaps they will not be as scattered as this one. I had to get my thoughts out there before I talk myself out of it again.
